With over 2.6 square meters of cooking surface: 2,700 square cm of direct grilling surface in the firebox, 10,900 square cm of horizontal indirect grilling surface on 2 shelves and 13,000 square cm (5 shelves @ 2,600 square cm each) of slow smoking surface in the vertical chamber. Quickly achieve 350 degrees for searing steak, 200 degrees for indirect grilling, 90 - 120 degrees for barbecuing or down to 65 degrees for slow smoking and warming. Remove the top rack(s) in the vertical chamber and gain access to the Durango's hanging bar for hanging your favorite slow smoked foods. With this type of versatility, the Durango can also be used commercially.
